Job Description
Advanced Pharmaceutical Consultants provide pharmacy services including pharmacists, technicians, and automation to behavioral health facilities nationwide. We are currently seeking a hospital trained Pharmacist for a behavioral health facilities in Battle Creek, MI. This is a full time position
Qualifications:
Data order entry/verification proficient. Automated dispensing machine experience Excellent communication skills with hospital administrators, physicians, and nursing staff. Previous Behavioral Health experience preferred.Job Requirements:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy (RPh or PharmD required)Experience:
minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience preferredLicense/Certification:
Currently licensed as a Pharmacist in Michigan.Physical Requirements:
Moderate to low physical demands. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the pharmacy team to ensure accurate prescriptions, efficient workflow, and exceptional patient service in both LTC and community settings. Ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and safe medication handling, including IV processes and compounding when applicable. Oversee inventory management, medication dispensing, and use of pharmacy software and EMR/EHR systems. Monitor patient care through clinical services, medication therapy management, and collaboration with healthcare providers. Maintain HIPAA compliance, data integrity, and secure communications with patients and facilities.Job Type:
