Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is crafted for a licensed pharmacist ready to provide specialized pharmaceutical care within a Long Term Care setting. Based in Bemidji, MN, this role is part of a specialty pharmacy environment where dedication to patient health and medication management is paramount.
Schedule and Location:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Some weekend hours required
- Based in Bemidji, Minnesota at a specialty pharmacy facility
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage medication dispensing and counseling tailored to Long Term Care patients
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and pharmacy operations standards
- Engage in comprehensive medication therapy management to optimize patient outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support medication management plans and patient care
Desired Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
- Immunization certification to administer vaccines as needed
- Current CPR certification for emergency responsiveness
