Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a specialty pharmacy site in Waseca, MN. This role focuses on providing long-term care pharmacy services, perfect for candidates with experience in long-term care settings who are interested in a travel position.
Location:
Waseca, MN Schedule:
20-30 hours per week Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Some weekend shifts required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform long-term care pharmacist duties, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications Review medication orders and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapy Provide medication counseling and support to patients in long-term care settings Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations Manage inventory and documentation according to facility protocols
Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist with applicable state licensure Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Willingness to travel for assignment This travel contract is an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise within specialty pharmacy and long-term care.
