Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to support their Long Term Care operations at a site in Waseca, MN. This contract role offers 20-30 hours per week over a 13+ week assignment, with a schedule primarily Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, including some weekends.
Responsibilities include:
Dispensing and verifying prescriptions tailored to Long Term Care patients Ensuring compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations and standards Collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy Maintaining accurate medication records and documentation Providing medication counseling and support for long-term care residents and staff
Desired Qualifications:
Current pharmacist licensure valid in Minnesota Experience in specialty pharmacy or long-term care pharmacy preferred Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently while maintaining open communication with the team Exceptional patient care and customer service focus This contract position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a specialty pharmacy setting while providing essential support to long-term care patients.
