Pharmacist (Per Diem) | Clinical Specialist - Ogdensburg Campus Impact patient care at a leading regional medical center. The Opportunity We are seeking a Part-Time Pharmacist to join our clinical team at the Claxton Campus in Ogdensburg . This position is central to achieving superior patient outcomes through clinical assessment, specialized therapy management, and expert consultation. Schedule & Setting Hours:
Day Shift (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM).
Location:
100% On-Site at the Ogdensburg Campus ( Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center ).
Call:
Once-a-month weekend call.
Core Responsibilities Clinical Assessment:
Monitor prescribed drug therapies for safety and effectiveness across diverse patient populations within the facility.
Consultation:
Partner with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize medication utilization and hospital resources.
Patient Education:
Participate in direct patient teaching and discharge counseling.
Compliance:
Maintain QA and regulatory standards to ensure the highest level of departmental pharmacy practice.
Requirements Licensure:
Current NYS Pharmacy License (upcoming graduates welcome!)
Certification:
Current BLS Certification.
Experience:
Hospital experience is heavily preferred (Retail experience will be considered).
Knowledge:
Proficiency in specialized hospital pharmacy functions and clinical information systems. Preferred Specialty Experience Cancer Treatment / Oncology Dialysis Mental Health / Behavioral Health Pay & Benefits Grade 8
Range:
$64.07 - $84.89/hour Pay determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity. •The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
