Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A Staff Pharmacist position is available to provide essential coverage in an inpatient behavioral health setting in St Charles, MO. This contract opportunity requires dedicated pharmacy professionals to support medication management and ensure patient safety during the specified assignment period.

Behavioral Health Assignment Dates:
August 6, 7, and August 10 through 14
Shift/Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid meal break)
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently within inpatient behavioral health units. Manage repackaging of medications, utilizing systems such as Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL. Support medication inventory by loading drugs into automated dispensing machines and running restock reports. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure appropriate medication use and patient safety. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and institutional standards. Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist with an active Missouri pharmacy license. Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems is highly preferred. Proficient in medication repackaging processes and knowledgeable about using repackaging systems. Familiarity with managing and restocking automated medication dispensing units. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care in a behavioral health environment.
