Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A busy outpatient pharmacy in the downtown Kansas City area is seeking a Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for a professional ready to engage in a fast-paced environment adjacent to a major hospital.
Responsibilities:
Verify and accurately fill prescriptions Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and guidelines Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal patient care Maintain accurate records and documentation Use EPIC pharmacy system for order processing and patient information management
Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist in good standing Experience with outpatient pharmacy operations preferred Proficiency in EPIC or similar pharmacy IT systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume setting
Location:
Lees Summit, MO, near downtown Kansas City and main hospital building
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, day shifts This contract position is scheduled for 13 weeks with the potential to transition into a permanent role.
