Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled pharmacist to support their Acute Care Pharmacy during evening shifts. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work a 13-week assignment with a strong possibility of extension. The primary responsibility will be product verification using EPIC dispense prep, including checking medications, kits, crash carts, prepack items, and other related tasks. Training is thorough, lasting 2-3 weeks depending on the pharmacist's capability. The pharmacist will coordinate workflow in the central pharmacy, ensuring accuracy in the handling of medication products such as IVs, pre-made IVs, creams, and insulin pens. Additionally, oversight of pharmacy technicians during shifts is expected to maintain efficient operations, though this role does not include direct supervision. The central pharmacy team includes several pharmacists and technicians, with this position serving as the primary evening pharmacist overseeing central pharmacy activities such as restocking and workflow coordination.
Qualifications:
Missouri Pharmacist Licensure required Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply Familiarity with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting is advantageous

Springfield, MO (Rogersville area shift coverage)
Schedule/Hours:
