Oceans Healthcare of Jackson, a 77-bed facility will expand inpatient capacity for adult and senior behavioral health patients and add new services, including an intensive outpatient program. The freestanding hospital will be located on the St. Dominic's campus. Position is part-time contract.

Essential Functions:

Restock the automated medication system (AMS) ("Restocking Trip") a minimum of twice weekly, and as needed upon request by Company. Ensure the integrity of pharmacy medication inventory as it relates to expiration dating, accuracy, and orderliness of the AMS. Submit reports and audits as scheduled and as requested by Company. Formal Education:

Bachelor's Degree Experience:

6 months License, Registration, and / or

Certification Requirement:

Yes Bachelor of Science Pharmacy Degree required Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy required Hospital experience, preferred Current license to practice pharmacy in the state of practice required Qualifications /

Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong mathematical and computer literacy skills

Occupational Risks:

Some portions (less than 50%) of daily assignments involve occupational risk, such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, injuries from falls, or back injury sustained with assisting in moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials.

Manual Skills:

Significant portions (more than 50%) of daily assignments involve application of manual skills requiring motor coordination in combination with finger dexterity, e.g., typing or machine operations.

Some portions (less than 50%) of daily assignments involve prolonged standing, transporting patients, material or equipment, or lifting, moving, or carrying heavy (over 30 pounds) materials for intermittent periods throughout the day.

Work Schedule:

Work may require evening, night, holiday, or weekend assignments on occasion.
