Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A behavioral health facility in Mccomb, MS, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to support its pharmacy operations. This contract role offers an opportunity to work independently as the sole pharmacist in a specialized psychiatric setting, using medDispense and Azalea Health EHR systems.
Responsibilities:
Conduct accurate checking, verification, and control of medications Collaborate with pharmacy technicians while serving as the solo pharmacist on site Ensure compliance with all regulatory and institutional standards Support medication management and documentation within the behavioral health framework Maintain pharmacy operations during business hours, ensuring timely service Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist with clinical experience, ideally in behavioral health or hospital settings Proficiency with medDispense and Azalea Health electronic health records preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfort managing the pharmacy as a solo pharmacist with tech support available
Location:
Mccomb, MS Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, no weekends
Assignment Duration:
