Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem This opportunity is for a Per Diem Pharmacist to support a veterinary pharmacy with a low volume of prescriptions in Mississippi State. The position offers flexible PRN hours with specific dates in mid-July, providing a great way to gain experience in a specialized retail pharmacy setting.
Location:
Mississippi State, MS Schedule:
July 14, 15, and 16 9:00 AM to 4:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Conduct typical retail pharmacy duties including prescription verification and dispensing Provide expert advice and support to veterinary clients and healthcare teams Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist in Mississippi (MS License required) At least 1 year of recent pharmacy experience, preferably in retail or veterinary settings Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
Compensation:
Competitive pay rate of $55-$60 per hour This per diem role offers an excellent chance to work in a niche area of pharmacy and build your expertise in veterinary medications.
