Description:
Pharmacist (Monday through Friday) In this position you will: Primary Responsibilities Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, motivated Pharmacist to serve as Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for our growing closed-door pharmacy in Montana. This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, lead a dedicated team, and help drive the continued growth and success of our organization. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical and operational leader who is passionate about patient care, team development, and building efficient pharmacy processes. Responsibilities Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) in accordance with state and federal regulations. Oversee all pharmacy operations, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with Montana Board of Pharmacy requirements and all applicable regulations. Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff. Manage workflow and operational efficiency. Maintain quality assurance and medication safety programs. Collaborate with providers, facilities, and healthcare partners. Oversee inventory management and controlled substance compliance. Support business growth initiatives and new service development. Participate in strategic planning and operational decision-making. Qualifications Active Montana Pharmacist license in good standing (or ability to obtain). Previous pharmacy management and/or PIC experience preferred. Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with long-term care, closed-door, institutional, specialty, or compliance packaging pharmacy operations is preferred. Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions. Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy recognized by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education or achieved foreign pharmacy graduate equivalency certification Must have and maintain a valid pharmacist license and be in good standing
