  • The Pharmacy Practice Residency is a one-year post-graduate residency program in an institutional practice setting that provides training as set forth and approved by the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists ( ASHP ).
The program will provide the opportunity to advance the resident's pharmacy practice beyond entry-level professional competence and develop the skills, knowledge, and attitude necessary for the provision of high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduated from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education ( ACPE ) accredited college of pharmacy
  • Upon hire: Montana Pharmacist License or
  • Upon hire: Montana Pharmacist Intern License
  • Within one hundred and twenty (120) days of hire, or as outlined by program policies, whichever is sooner: Montana Pharmacist Registered (Vendor Managed).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PharmD
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy practices as a student, intern, or pharmacist
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
  • Demonstrated drug knowledge, IV knowledge, and compounding ability.
