Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a retail setting located in Cut Bank, Montana. The role is an 8-week travel assignment starting as soon as possible, with the potential to extend beyond August.
Schedule & Hours:
1st shift: 9:00 AM to 6:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and ensure safe, efficient delivery to customers. Counsel and advise patients on medication use and regimens. Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints according to policy. Maintain stock, controlled drug records, and inventory controls. Address and resolve patient issues and third-party coverage challenges.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active and clear Montana Pharmacist License is mandatory. Minimum of 1 year of recent pharmacy experience. Familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy software preferred. Ability to work independently as the sole pharmacist on site. Comfortable managing a prescription volume of approximately 100 scripts per day. This contract assignment requires someone ready to start by July 1st and is ideal for pharmacists seeking a focused, short-term role with autonomy in a retail pharmacy environment.
