Pharmacist - Pharmacy Business Manager Join our pharmacy leadership team as a Pharmacy Business Manager , where you'll play a key role in the financial, operational, and supply chain performance of the pharmacy department. This position is ideal for a pharmacist who combines strong business and financial acumen with expertise in drug supply chain operations and the 340B Drug Pricing Program. In this leadership role, you will oversee the pharmacy's daily business, financial, and inventory operations while identifying opportunities to improve departmental performance.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage pharmacy drug supply chain and inventory operations Oversee 340B program operations and compliance Analyze pharmacy revenues, expenses, budgets, and financial performance Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial and operational results Support drug contracting, purchasing, budgeting, and invoice management Participate in drug formulary management and reimbursement initiatives Support revenue cycle and Patient Assistance Program (PAP) activities Use data and analytics to identify trends and guide business decisions Lead and develop the 340B Specialist, Pharmacy Buyer, and Assistant Pharmacy Buyer Technicians Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and other stakeholders across the organization

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized college or university or a master's degree in a business-related field Pharmacist education/degree required for this role North Carolina pharmacist license required within 3 months of hire Minimum of 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience , with an emphasis on drug supply chain operations Strong understanding of pharmacy financial and budget processes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Demonstrated leadership and analytical skills

Highly Preferred:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Strong knowledge and experience with the 340B Drug Pricing Program Experience with drug formulary management, reimbursement, revenue cycle, and Patient Assistance Programs Financial analysis and pharmacy business operations experience Retail specialty pharmacy or acute care experience
