Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A well-established independent community pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care on a per diem basis. This opportunity offers the chance to work 1-2 days per week with one guaranteed day every Friday, making it an ideal arrangement for professionals seeking flexible weekend availability. Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions to promote safe and effective treatment Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes Maintain thorough and accurate patient records Manage inventory and pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid North Carolina Pharmacist license is mandatory Proven retail pharmacy experience, preferably within independent community settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse patient populations Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety
