Clinical Pharmacist

This role offers the chance to apply expertise in sterile and non-sterile medication preparation while working closely with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient care outcomes.

Schedule & Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Every third Saturday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM 30-minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to tailor pharmacological care according to patient needs Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions, including both sterile and non-sterile formulations Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory efficiently Offer pharmaceutical counseling and guidance to ensure safe and effective medication use Assist with the training and supervision of pharmacy technicians to support daily operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Licensed pharmacist in the state of North Carolina Between 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience; new graduates with a genuine interest and passion for compounding are encouraged to apply Knowledge of USP standards 795, 797, and 800 related to compounding practices Familiarity with retail pharmacy workflows and prescription processing Willingness to learn and adapt to pharmacy software similar to QS1 (training provided) This contract-to-perm position provides an excellent opportunity to develop compounding skills in a supportive environment while contributing to high-quality patient care.
