- Sign on bonus of $20,000.00 for qualified, full time candidates
- Relocation up to $7,000.
Job Summary:
To assist the Director of Pharmacy in the supervision of the department, training of new pharmacists, and assuring that all medications dispensed are in accordance with State and Federal regulations. This position looks for ways to optimize pharmacy operations while being part of an interdisciplinary comprehensive Cancer Center. - Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy Program with current licensure as a pharmacist in state of practice. Preferably have completed an ASHP accredited residency program in Oncology or other advanced training/certifications such as Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist.
- Must have the ability to use the Pharmacy computer system at an acceptable level after having been instructed during the training period.
- The Lead Oncology Pharmacist must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the disease and age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit.
- Most hours will be set hours during the week but must be willing to accept "call back" when necessary.
