Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Pharmacist to join our healthcare team, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and medication management. Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately using pharmacy software and electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring adherence to physician orders and safety protocols Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine medication needs, review medical histories, and evaluate potential drug interactions Provide expert consultation on medication therapy management, pain control, immunizations, and medical management strategies Compound medications following aseptic techniques and ensure proper storage, inventory management, and medication labeling Administer immunizations with precision using sterile techniques. Collaborate with healthcare professionals on patient care plans, including pediatrics, critical care, and acute care cases Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and ensure secure handling of sensitive information Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and safety precautions to promote optimal health outcomes Experience Demonstrated clinical pharmacy experience with a focus on patient service and assessment. Hands-on experience with pharmacy software systems, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and EHR platforms is essential. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pharmacology principles relevant to diverse patient populations including pediatrics Proven ability to perform compounding medications accurately and safely in aseptic environments Experience with inventory management, medication administration protocols, and HIPAA compliance regulations Join us in delivering compassionate pharmaceutical care that transforms lives!
