- Ensures that the pharmacy complies with all state and federal laws, regulations and rules governing the practice of pharmacy
- Checking and evaluating written prescriptions, as well as recording and verifying patient information while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations
- Expedite the processing of prescriptions and perform electronic prescription verification in software(PioneerRx)
- Quality assurance of processes and workflow management to ensure financial profitability
- Providing exceptional customer service, both face to face and on the telephone
- Ensure that all pharmacy records and inventories are maintained in accordance with state and federal laws, regulations and rules
- Inventory management and proper storage of drugs to prevent loss and deterioration
- Answer questions and provide counseling to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, etc.
- Remain active and in good standing with all licensing requirements of the state board of pharmacy
- Complete continuing education as cited by the state board of pharmacy Qualifications and Skills
- Valid certified pharmacy license in North Dakota
- 2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Google Suite (Sheets, Docs)
- Document handling and management systems (e-fax, scanning, Acrobat)
- PioneerRx experience preferred but not required
- Patience and ability to manage stress
- Problem solving skills
- Possess strong mathematical skills Minimum required qualications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a pharmacist
- Active pharmacy license in North Dakota
- Not on the OIG/SAM excluded list
- Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
Pay:
$50.00- $55.
