This role supports a 120-bed Level III trauma center, delivering expert medication management and patient safety in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Location:

Norfolk, NE Schedule/Hours:

Night shift, 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday rotation)

Key Responsibilities:

Validate medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail Perform kinetic dosing adjustments as needed for individual patients Check medications prior to distribution to ensure safety and compliance Respond promptly to nursing staff inquiries and provide clinical guidance Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding during overnight hours Fill outpatient prescriptions for Emergency Department patients throughout the night

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Nebraska pharmacist license required Minimum 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system preferred (training available) Experience with Pyxis automated dispensing systems helpful Ability to work independently during night shifts, with pharmacy technician support provided This contract role begins ASAP and continues for 13 weeks or longer.
