Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A 120-bed Level III trauma center is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a contract role, providing critical overnight pharmacy services. This position offers the opportunity to work independently during the night shift while receiving support from a pharmacy technician.

Norfolk, NE Position Type:
Contract (13 weeks +)
Start Date:
ASAP Schedule:
7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday)
Shift Hours:
8:00 PM to 7:00 AM Responsibilities include: Validating medication orders and performing kinetic dosing calculations Reviewing medications prior to distribution to ensure accuracy and safety Fielding clinical questions from nursing staff during the night shift Overseeing compounding procedures after hours Filling outpatient prescriptions for emergency department patients The ideal candidate will have: Nebraska pharmacy licensure Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems (training available if needed) Support is available through an onsite pharmacy technician to assist with workflow and operations. This role requires focused attention to detail and the ability to manage pharmacy operations independently during nighttime hours. This contract opportunity enables pharmacists to apply their clinical skills while gaining valuable trauma center experience.
