A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead and manage daily operations of a newly established outpatient community pharmacy in Newark, NJ. This full-time, contract-to-hire role offers an exciting opportunity to build and develop a high-performing pharmacy team from the ground up while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pharmacy operations and workflow management Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory requirements Supervise, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff Manage inventory control and implement quality assurance programs Provide clinical oversight and patient counseling Collaborate with healthcare providers and organizational leadership Support the successful launch and ongoing growth of the pharmacy Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Active New Jersey Pharmacist License required Minimum 3 years' experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) Strong background in community pharmacy operations Proven leadership skills with experience managing staff and pharmacy workflows Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred Familiarity with PrimeRx, MicroMerchant, or similar pharmacy systems is a plus Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities Why This Role?
