Job Description

Position Summary The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for the provision of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in an oncology setting and all associated areas including therapeutic consultation. The clinical pharmacist reports directly to the Pharmacy Director and is responsible for overall pharmaceutical care in the oncology setting through medicine distribution, clinical services, and teaching. The Clinical Pharmacist will work independently, as well as part of a professional healthcare team (including providers, nurses, and pharmacy staff). Minimum Requirements
  • PharmD
  • NJ Pharmacy License
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of pharmacy experience in compounding, dispensing and rounding (will accept residency experience).
  • Oncology experience required
  • Candidate must have demonstrated experience working in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team environment and be able to work independently as well.
  • Proven track record of patient focused approach to the pharmacy profession
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NIOSH, USP797 and JC regulatory standards
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication and computer skills
Salary Range:
$115,000-$150,000 annually (Based on experience) Additional information
