•Village Super Market (ShopRite Pharmacy) is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our team! The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and effective dispensing of medications while providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients. This role involves patient counseling, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and compliance with all legal and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise all pharmacy operations, including dispensing, immunizations, MTM, compounding, and counseling Ensure compliance and adhere with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations Ensure compliance and adhere with all company policies and procedures Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation Manage inventory, purchasing, and medication storage Ensure safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications Review and interpret prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and adherence Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

Experience and Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of medications, dosing, interactions, and counseling. Ability to ensure safe and accurate dispensing. Provide counseling, answer questions, resolve concerns. Maintain a patient‑focused, safety‑focused mindset. Accuracy in verifying prescriptions. Ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. Understanding of insurance processes, prior authorizations, and third‑party billing. Experience preparing for audits and ensuring compliance. Experience resolving customer issues.
