Job Description

MAJOR FUNCTION
: To dispense medications for patients upon receipt of a physician order. To provide drug information to the Medical Staff upon request. To provide quality pharmaceutical services to patients and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
:
Education & Experience:
Graduate of a College or School of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education with a minimum of a bachelor's degree required. Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
Maintains licensure in good standing as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New Jersey. National certification in a specialized area recognized by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) preferred.
