This evening-shift role runs every other week from 3 PM to 11 PM, with start dates on either April 27 or May 4. Located in Toms River, NJ, this position requires a licensed pharmacist skilled in balancing operational duties and clinical expertise within a dynamic hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, verify, and dispense medication orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare sterile and hazardous medications following USP standards. Manage controlled substances and maintain compliance. Conduct medication histories, reconciliation, and provide patient education. Perform clinical interventions to optimize patient therapy outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare teams by providing timely drug information. Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system confidently.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of one year recent inpatient pharmacy experience. Familiarity with Pyxis and carousel technology preferred but not mandatory. Valid New Jersey pharmacist license currently in-hand. Fully vaccinated including COVID booster is required. Open to first-time travel assignment pharmacists eager to gain hospital experience.
