Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An inpatient overnight pharmacist position is available in Bernalillo, NM, supporting both Women's and Westside campuses with a focus on hospital inpatient pharmacy care. This contract role offers a 7-on/7-off schedule covering the 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM shift, starting on September 28 for a 13-week duration. Candidates can be first-time travelers, and a New Mexico pharmacist license is required; applicants with a pending license application may also be considered as NM licenses typically post within 10 days.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and verify medication orders accurately in an inpatient hospital setting. Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and effective pharmacotherapy. Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and communication. Support pharmacy services across both Women's and Westside campuses as needed during the overnight shift.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Minimum of 1 year's experience in inpatient pharmacy practice. Active New Mexico pharmacist license or proof of pending application. Proficiency with
EPIC EMR
system preferred. Willingness to work overnight shifts on a rotating 7-on/7-off schedule. Adaptability to serve multiple hospital campuses.
