Inpatient Pharmacist

Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense inpatient medications following established protocols Review and interpret physician orders for appropriateness and safety Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient-specific therapeutic plans Monitor patient responses and adjust medication therapies as needed Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Provide medication counseling and education to patients and clinical staff Participate in quality improvement initiatives and pharmacy department goals

Qualifications:

Valid pharmacist licensure to practice in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain) Proven experience in inpatient pharmacy environment Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and safety standards Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Commitment to continuous professional development and patient care excellence
