Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical pharmacist position is available to provide critical inpatient pharmacy services in a dynamic hospital setting. This 13-week contract assignment involves working a 7-on/7-off schedule from 8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. in Corrales, NM, with responsibilities spanning multiple campuses.
Key responsibilities include:
Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently within the inpatient pharmacy Utilizing automation technologies such as Pyxis and Carousel for medication management Supervising pharmacy technicians and verifying their work to ensure compliance and safety Supporting medication preparation, with IV experience considered a strong asset Collaborating to provide pharmacy coverage across both Women's and Westside campus locations as needed Qualifications and experience desired: NM pharmacy license active and in good standing Minimum of one year inpatient pharmacy practice experience Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, to document and verify medication orders Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and function well in fast-paced environments Open to pharmacists pursuing their first travel assignment This opportunity offers varied clinical exposure and the chance to develop skills across multiple hospital settings.
