Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire An opportunity is available for a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care within a hospital setting. This direct hire position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes through accurate medication dispensing, patient counseling, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately review, dispense, and distribute medications in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Counsel patients and healthcare staff on medication usage, side effects, and interactions. Collaborate with medical teams to ensure appropriate drug therapies and optimize treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records and pharmaceutical inventories. Monitor patient responses to prescribed medications and report any adverse reactions. Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in the pharmacy department.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist with valid credentials and registration. Proven experience working as a staff pharmacist in a hospital environment. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical protocols, hospital formularies, and medication safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
