Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Cal Nev Ari, NV is seeking a dedicated travel pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work a structured schedule with alternating days off, ideal for professionals seeking a balanced work-life rhythm.
Schedule:
7 days on, 7 days off Shifts range from 10 to 12 hours
Weekdays:
9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Weekends:
8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform order verification to ensure accurate medication dispensing Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily tasks Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide expert pharmaceutical consultations Apply pharmacokinetics knowledge in patient care decisions Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and pharmacy regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Arizona pharmacist license is mandatory Proven hospital pharmacy experience, including IV certification and hands-on IV preparation/expertise Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Familiarity with MedHost electronic medical records (EMR) system This contract role is designed for pharmacists comfortable with travel and relocation who are looking for immediate placement. The position combines clinical pharmacy practice with collaborative healthcare team interaction, ensuring quality patient care and medication safety.
