Location:
Johnson City, NY Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients and healthcare providers. Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy. Provide medication counseling and education to patients and hospital staff. Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records in compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Pharmacist license in the state of New York. Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in a hospital or clinical setting. Strong clinical knowledge of pharmacology and drug therapies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and within healthcare teams. Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
