Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Seeking experienced Pharmacists to support hospital pharmacy operations in the Johnson City, NY area. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment to apply your pharmacy expertise in a healthcare setting that prioritizes patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy for patients. Provide patient counseling and medication education. Maintain thorough and accurate records, including drug inventories and controlled substance logs. Monitor patient outcomes and report any adverse drug reactions or medication errors.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Pharmacist license with experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings. Strong knowledge of prescription processing, pharmaceutical regulations, and hospital pharmacy systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
