Pharmacist-in-Charge Location:
Lawrence NY Pay:
Up to $180,000 Full-Time About the Role Our client, an established compounding pharmacy is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and clinical leadership. This is a senior leadership position responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of pharmacy services while leading and developing the pharmacy team. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership across all pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and industry standards. Maintain responsibility for pharmacy licensing, regulatory inspections, policies, and controlled substance management. Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding processes, ensuring quality, accuracy, and patient safety. Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives, including SOP development, audits, investigations, and corrective actions. Manage staffing, scheduling, recruitment, training, and performance of pharmacists and pharmacy support staff. Work collaboratively with senior leadership to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and business performance. Ensure accurate documentation, inventory management, and compliance with applicable pharmacy standards. Requirements Active Pharmacist licence in good standing. Previous experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge, Director of Pharmacy, or similar pharmacy leadership role. Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, compliance, quality systems, and compounding standards. Demonstrated leadership, people management, and operational experience. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience Experience within a compounding pharmacy environment. Familiarity with sterile and non-sterile compounding regulations and quality systems. Experience preparing for and managing regulatory inspections and accreditation activities. INDUS Pay:
$160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
