Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in New York, NY, is seeking a knowledgeable Pharmacist with clinical pharmacy expertise to support patient care services. This contract position requires a professional who is detail-oriented and committed to optimizing medication therapy outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness Provide clinical consultation to healthcare teams regarding medication therapy Manage medication dispensing and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Educate patients on proper medication use and potential side effects Monitor patient responses to therapies and adjust treatment plans as necessary Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care quality Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all pharmacy activities
Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist with active license to practice in New York Experience in clinical pharmacy and medication management Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Proficiency with pharmacy software and technology systems

Contract position with specific hours to be discussed during the hiring process This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact healthcare environment through expert pharmaceutical care.
