Full Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a Pharmacist to perform various office duties

Description of Roles and Responsibilities :

• As a Pharmacist, you would be responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care, including the review, dispensing and monitoring of inpatient and outpatient medications
• You would also be responsible for preparing IV admixtures, providing drug information, conducting patient and family medication counseling sessions, supervising pharmacy aides, and participating in pharmacy and facility wide performance improvement activities

Mandatory/Minimum Qualification, Skills, Experience Requirements :

Bachelor's degree preferred in pharmacy or pharmacology. Licensed in New York. Candidates must be in possession of a license and current registration to practice pharmacy in New York State. Minimum ten years of experience working in a pharmacy or at a drug manufacturer and at least five years of relevant experience.

Vaccination:

MMR/ Hep B Qualification, Skills, Experience Requirements :

• Proven experience as a pharmacist
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist
• Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and software applications, used by pharmacies, such as MEDITECH and Mediware
• Great organizational skills
