Job Description

RETAIL PHARMACIST - PER DIEM
(WEEKDAY & PTO
COVERAGE
) Century Drug & Surgical is seeking a dynamic pharmacist to perform general prescription filling duties and provide support to its customers. In addition, it is preferred that the applicant have strong skills in the following areas:
Prescription Intake:
An understanding of the patient demographic information, clinical data, and insurance information necessary to process specific types of prescriptions.
Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with doctors, patients, and insurance companies.
Documentation Skills:
Record pertinent information in patient files, etc.
Management Skills:
Ability to organize, file, and provide a positive and professional workplace presence.
Insurance Adherence:
Attention to detail when processing claims and filing documents with a focus on the most common issues that arise during insurance audits. New York Pharmacist License Required. Previous Pharmacy experience preferred.
Pay:
$68.00 per hour
License/Certification:
New York State Pharmacy License (Required)
