Job Description
As a Part Time Floater Pharmacist in a Riesbeck's Food Markets Pharmacy, you are more than just a dispenser of medication; you are a vital community health resource. You will work at the intersection of clinical expertise and exceptional customer service, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care while fostering a welcoming environment for our shoppers. Riesbeck's has four pharmacy locations in our Ohio stores located in Bridgeport, St. Clairsville, Cambridge and South Zanesville. This position will average 24 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, and appropriateness of dosage. Provide professional consultation on prescription and over-the-counter medications, potential side effects, and chronic disease management. Administer vaccines (Flu, COVID-19, Shingles, etc.) and maintain accurate immunization records in accordance with state laws. Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring a productive workflow and adherence to company policies. Maintain strict compliance with DEA, FDA, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations, including the management of controlled substances. Resolve insurance adjudication issues and provide a "patient-first" experience that aligns with our grocery store's brand values.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited.
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing for the State of Ohio.
- Immunization Certification and valid CPR/BLS Certification
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking in a high volume environment, and excellent verbal communications skills.
- Able to work an average of 24 hours per week.
