Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire A closed-door Long Term Care pharmacy is seeking two direct hire Narcotic/Control Pharmacists to support the growing site operation. These positions require experience with controlled substances and the ability to ensure safe, effective medication management within long-term care settings.

Dublin, OH (Columbus area)
Job Type:
Direct Hire Schedule Options:
2nd Shift (Monday-Friday), 5x8-hour shifts, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, every other weekend 2nd Shift (Monday-Sunday), 7 days on/7 days off, 4:00 PM - 2:30
AM Key Responsibilities:
Review and evaluate medication orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and administration Manage controlled drugs (narcotics) including documentation, security, and stock control Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and healthcare teams to address medication-related questions Provide recommendations for therapy changes based on patient needs Maintain accurate records including medical history and laboratory data Supervise medication preparation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Perform on-call duties as required Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Must hold an active OH Pharmacist license Experience handling controlled substances within a pharmacy setting Strong knowledge of long-term care pharmacy operations Effective communication skills for interaction with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment This opportunity offers a rewarding role supporting patient safety and medication management in long-term care.
