Unlike traditional retail environments, our closed-door facility allows our team to focus entirely on clinical excellence and operational accuracy. We partner closely with long-term care client-communities to support their residents. Due to rapid growth, we are seeking dedicated Pharmacists to join our experienced, collaborative team. Position Summary As a Long-Term Care Pharmacist, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to residents within our partner communities. You will leverage your clinical expertise to review therapies, manage medication distribution, and collaborate with healthcare providers. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong clinical judgment, and is committed to patient safety. Key Responsibilities

Pharmaceutical Care:

Deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care tailored to patients in long-term care (LTC) settings.

Clinical Assessment:

Assess and manage complex patient medication needs, utilizing critical care experience or advanced clinical knowledge to optimize therapy outcomes.

Medication Dispensing:

Ensure the accurate, safe, and timely dispensing of medications while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards.

Therapy Interventions:

Conduct detailed patient therapy assessments, identify potential drug interactions or optimizations, and execute clinical interventions.

Clinical Communication:

Demonstrate deep proficiency in medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and care facility staff.

Operational Excellence:

Maintain top-tier patient service levels and assist with essential operational tasks, including pharmacy inventory management. Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (RPh) from an accredited pharmacy school.

Licensure:

Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Ohio..

Experience:

Prior experience in an LTC pharmacy or with parenteral admixtures (IV compounding) is a plus, but not required . Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Clinical Knowledge:

Strong baseline knowledge of human physiology, therapeutics, and medical terminology.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional patient care skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication.

Technical Skills:
