Pharmacy Support Representative:

Reception of incoming calls and placement of outbound calls, routing to the appropriate individual, if needed. Administrative responsibilities associated with the practice of the pharmacy. Obtain and data entry of insurance, physician, and patient demographic information. Processing third-party billing information for reimbursement Work collaboratively with all other departments; including accounting, contracts & licensing, shipping, etc. Filing and other general office tasks.

Key Requirements:

Qualified candidates must have excellent verbal and computer skills with the desire to communicate with customers and prospects a majority of each workday. Effective at retaining and disseminating health insurance plan information. Ideally 1-2 years of experience in a customer service position. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment. Word processing skill of 40 WPM. Knowledge of PioneerRx helpful. Pharmacy experience helpful but not necessary. Light lifting of up to 25 pounds.
