Job Description

Category Pharmacy•Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is seeking a Temporary Staff Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy services in a community hospital setting. The role requires coverage starting by September 8th, no later than the 14th, with a 40-hour workweek Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, plus on-call duties after some shifts and occasional Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Location:

Position based near Mc Arthur, OH, at a community hospital with 25 licensed beds and an average daily census of 25-30 patients.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Ohio Pharmacist licensure is required. Experience with EPIC order entry system highly preferred. Previous work in emergency department, infusion, or orthopedic specialties is advantageous. Strong knowledge of medication management in a hospital environment without automation systems.

Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and safely based on prescriptions and protocols. Provide on-call support as scheduled to ensure medication availability and resolve pharmacy inquiries. Collaborate with healthcare staff in ED, infusion, and orthopedic units to optimize patient care. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

7:30 AM•6:00 PM (40 hours) On-call duties after some shifts

Occasional Saturdays:
