Dispensing Pharmacist Shift:

2nd Shift, Sunday-Thursday, 5:30 PM-2:00 AM We are seeking a licensed Dispensing Pharmacist responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medications to patients. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to independently determine appropriate courses of action while following established policies and procedures. The Dispensing Pharmacist ensures adherence to quality assurance standards, performs accurate tracking and verification processes, and completes a thorough review prior to shipping medications to patients. This position supports departmental and organizational goals, contributes to operational excellence, and may involve work in ambiguous situations with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Dispense prescribed medications accurately and in a timely manner. Review prescriptions and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Perform tracking, verification, and pre-shipment review processes. Follow established guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Make independent decisions regarding work methods when appropriate. Collaborate effectively with team members and support problem-solving efforts. Communicate clearly with internal partners and maintain a high level of professionalism. Contribute to a consumer-focused environment committed to continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. Active pharmacist license in the state(s) of practice. Eligibility to participate in federal prescription programs. Strong self-direction and ability to work effectively in a team. Excellent problem-solving and collaborative skills. High level of accuracy, productivity, and work ethic. Strong communication and computer proficiency. Commitment to improving the consumer experience. Preferred Qualifications 3 or more years of experience in a high-volume community pharmacy or mail order pharmacy environment.
