Job Description

Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our team. This position is based out of our The Plains, OH location. The Staff Pharmacist coordinates the drug distribution and clinical pharmacy activities for nursing and support departments within the clinic and organization. The role is responsible for safe and efficient methods for coordination of established pharmacy policy concerning drug patient care and provides clinical drug information to meet the needs of the patient, nurse and physician. The Pharmacist also works with patients, providers, and other members of the healthcare team to provide patients with appropriate and beneficial pharmacy services to meet the needs of Hopewell's population while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations. •The above depicts an overview of Pharmacists duties.
