Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An interim Pharmacy Manager position is available at a small Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital in Muskogee, OK. This role combines pharmacy staff responsibilities with management duties, requiring someone who can effectively oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure regulatory compliance as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC).
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge, maintaining compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws Manage pharmacy staff and workflow to optimize medication services Provide direct pharmacy services including prescription verification and dispensing Collaborate with hospital leadership to support patient care and quality initiatives Ensure accurate medication inventory management and documentation
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Oklahoma Pharmacist license required Proven hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in an LTAC or acute care setting Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to serve as PIC Full-time availability with immediate start capability
