Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A community hospital located about 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for day-shift coverage. This position is a contract opportunity with potential for permanence, welcoming new graduates who have completed or are pursuing a PGY-1 residency. The hospital operates a 100-bed facility and uses Meditech as its IT system.
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Oklahoma pharmacist license Some prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply Strong communication and consulting abilities Familiarity with clinical pharmacy practices and protocols
