Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a dedicated Night Shift Pharmacist to support a healthcare facility in Stillwater, OK. This contract role requires an experienced pharmacist to join a team responsible for ensuring safe and accurate medication distribution during overnight hours. The assignment is for 13 weeks, offering a chance to contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment.
Schedule:
Wednesday through Tuesday (7 on, 7 off) 12-hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and promptly Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth workflow Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient medication regimens Collaborate effectively with physicians and nurses for comprehensive patient care Utilize Meditech pharmacy information system efficiently
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid pharmacist license in Oklahoma Previous experience as a staff pharmacist, preferably in a hospital setting Comfortable and willing to work night shifts Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic health record systems is a plus
