This per diem position offers a chance to work closely with an older patient population, providing essential pharmacy services in a small, community-focused setting. The assignment runs from July 15th through July 31st.

Shift:

9:00am - 5:30pm Monday through Thursday 9:00am - 4:00pm Friday No weekend hours

Responsibilities:

Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently. Provide patient counseling with a focus on the needs of patients primarily over 50 years old. Manage and oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with a team consisting of two strong pharmacy technicians. Utilize the Liberty pharmacy system to maintain workflow and accuracy. Qualifications /

Desired Experience:

Clear and active Texas pharmacist license is required. Experience in community health or retail pharmacy settings preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to counsel patients effectively. Ability to manage and mentor pharmacy technicians.
