Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Travel Support a hospital oncology infusion center with a 26-week travel assignment in Gold Beach, OR. This position centers on a newly established Oncology Infusion Center at a hospital pharmacy within a community health network. The role demands expertise in chemotherapy medication preparation and collaboration with clinical oncology teams.
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders for oncology infusion patients Prepare chemotherapy medications and compound hazardous drugs safely and accurately Work closely with oncology nurses and providers to ensure optimal patient care Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and workflow
Qualifications:
PharmD degree required Current pharmacist license (RPh) in Oregon or ability to obtain before assignment start Proven experience in oncology pharmacy within a hospital or infusion center setting Skilled in chemotherapy medication preparation and hazardous drug compounding
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts Assignment start: June Contract duration: 26 weeks This travel opportunity allows for flexible relocation to scenic southern Oregon and hands-on experience with advanced oncology pharmacy services.
